I’ve been having an ongoing saga around some online shopping which has apparently been delivered, yet not to my house. I’m pretty sure of this as I was on a flight to Germany at the time it was supposed to have arrived.
So after chasing the courier company, I received the following email, which has to be classed as the most unhelpful customer service correspondence ever:
Dear Gill Edwards,
I am happy to advise that the depot have replied back to the investigation we have raised and they have advised that the driver can not remember the delivery, in this case please contact the sender of this parcel and they will deal with this on your behalf.
I do apologise for the inconvenience caused.
If you wish to discuss the matter further please do not hesitate to contact me on telephone number XXXXXXX and I will be happy to answer any further questions you may have.
Kind Regards,

I know I probably didn’t need a sixth bikini for my honeymoon but thanks SO much for your help there, courier company! Am slightly at a loss as to how to respond appropriately...
